Newborn baby photographs

It was nice taking January off of shooting anything buy my family and some wrstling tournaments.  But it was so much fun to start of 2012 with a sweet 6 day old baby boy.  And his (almost) 2 year old sister. 

I'm not done editing their photos, but wanted to post up a couple pictures on my poor, neglected blog.

A Senior I missed on the blog...

Somehow in my fall/Christmas busy-ness, I missed posting pictures of another beautiful Senior that I had the honor of shooting.  I'm revisiting photos from last year re edit, re evaluate etc... and found this one which is one of my absolute favorites.

One of my favorites of 2011

I was just revisiting some old photos, cleaning up my hard drives and playing around with some photos in Lightroom and Photoshop and I came across this one photo that was one of my favorites from this past year.

Another Before and After

I love seeing before and after shots.  I love to see the different edits that some come up with. and I love me some backlighting brightening up the back of the hair.

Although I usually try to get it as close to "Right" as possible in camera...sometimes when I'm chasing baby girl around, or any other young child..... I don't!  I was playing around with some photos I took of my kids in the fall and found this one that I really like, except it was underexposed and was way off in the white balance department.  I decided to give it a go, all done in Photo Shop, to see what I could do with it.

Playing around with my New-ish softbox on my strobe and my little girl has become quite the ham infront of the camera.  Here are just a couple shots of her over the last couple of months.
