May 28 Wedding
Thankfully the thunderstorms held off and although it was hot out, it was a really nice afternoon for an outdoor wedding. Here are a few shots from the day

Deez 5K May 14, 2011
Less than a year ago, friends of ours 16 year old daughter was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Clear Cell Sarcoma. She spend a good bit of the second half of last year at St. Jude's children hospital. Despite their efforts and a ton of prayers from many family, friends, community members and strangers who heard about Danielle one way or another, She passed away end of March 2011. Needless to say, everyone was devestated.
A few people from the community organized a 5K run to benefit the family and help with the cost of medical bills, travel expenses etc... Here is the website for the run. http://www.deezrun.com/ I had every intention of running this race. But soon found out that one of my boys had a baseball tournament that day and no doubt my husband would be working so there was no way to run with 4 kids in tow. Less than a week before the race, I was asked to photograph the event. I figured I could make that work and then get to baseball. (A bit late...but we got there!)
anyway, here are just a few of the pictures I took of the morning. I was convinced I would keep my emotions in check and not shed one tear...HA!! Yeah, that didn't last long. It was awesome to see the amount of people come out in support of a family who has done so much for our school and community. (Joe one of the guys in charge of our midget football program. And anyone who knows me knows how much I love my football!)
Danielle designed this back door herself. And they used the design also for the shirts.
